1. Service description

Private Fraud Notifier (“PFN”) is a mobile application that detects potential social engineering fraud by monitoring phone call state and foreground app usage on your Android device. All analysis is performed locally on your device.

2. Subscription tiers

Free Tier

  • Basic fraud alerts (standard Android notifications)
  • Detection of sensitive apps opened during active phone calls

Premium Tier (paid subscription)

  • High-priority fraud alerts (heads-up notifications over other apps)
  • Full fraud details in notifications
  • Remote access app detection (alerts for TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.)

Premium is available as:

  • Monthly subscription: auto-renews each month
  • Annual subscription: auto-renews each year
  • Lifetime purchase: one-time payment, no renewal

All prices are displayed in Google Play before purchase and include applicable taxes (VAT).

3. Billing and cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed through Google Play.
  • Renewal charges apply 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Premium access until then.
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play per their refund policy: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637

4. Limitation of liability

Important

PFN is designed to reduce the likelihood of falling victim to phone-based social engineering fraud. However:

  • PFN does not guarantee prevention of fraud or financial loss.
  • PFN is an assistive tool that provides alerts — it does not block calls, apps, or transactions.
  • The effectiveness of fraud detection depends on the scam technique used, the apps involved, and whether PFN’s permissions are properly configured.
  • Fine Ware s.r.o. is not liable for any financial loss, damages, or consequences arising from fraud that PFN did not detect or that occurred despite PFN’s alerts.
  • Users remain solely responsible for their own financial decisions and actions taken during or after phone calls.

5. Data and privacy

PFN processes all data locally on your device. No call recordings, SMS content, or app usage data is transmitted to our servers. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat (pseudonymous device ID and purchase receipts only). See our full Privacy Policy: fineware.dev/products/pfn/privacy

6. Intellectual property

PFN and all associated software are proprietary to Fine Ware s.r.o. All rights reserved. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PFN after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
